半制备型柱与饼性能的比较

 通过比较具有相同柱几何体积的半制备柱和饼的性能 ,发现在同样的条件下 ,用液相方法分离生物大分子时 ,在分离效率和蛋白活性回收方面 ,饼和柱的差异不大 ;由于饼中的填料较柱中的装填更为紧密和均匀 ,当流动相流速增加时 ,饼不仅反向压力上升慢 ,而且质量和体积负载也比柱高。该结果表明使用饼的分离不仅具有可与高效液相 (HPLC)媲美的分离效率 ,而且还具有中、低压分离的高柱负载 ,这有利于蛋白保持高的生物活性 ,为饼的工业化应用奠定了基础。     

Substitution with retention in organoboranes and utilization of the phenomenon for a general synthesis of pure enantiomers

Organoboranes, readily available via the hydroboration of unsaturated organic compounds, exhibit a remarkable versatility in their reactions. The boron atom in these organoboranes can be readily converted into a wide variety of organic groups under very mild conditions, providing simple versatile syntheses of organic compounds. Exploration of these substitution reactions reveal that, with rare exceptions, the organoboranes transfer the alkyl group to other elements of synthetic interest with complete retention of stereochemistry. Recently we have discovered a method of synthesizing essentially optically pure organoborane intermediates. These optically active alkyl groups attached to boron can also be transferred with complete retention of optical activity. Consequently, it is now possible to achieve by a rational synthesis the preparation of almost any optically active compound with a chiral center, either R- or S-, in essentially 100% enantiomeric excess.     

Liquid chromatography of benzene derivatives on a porous methacrylate copolymer containing epoxy groups

Summary The retention of benzene derivatives with nonpolar and polar substituents on a porous methacrylate copolymer containing epoxy groups using both nonpolar and polar eluents was investigated. When n-hexane is used as the eluent, the retention of n-alkylbenzenes and polymethylbenzenes is weaker than that of benzene. In the case of benzene derivatives containing polar functional groups their capacity ratios (k) on this porous polymer increases approximately linearly with the increase of the adsorbate molecules dipole moment. The retention characteristics of the methacrylate copolymer were compared with that of a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer and silica gels with a hydroxylated surface and with a surface modified by chemically bonded alkylsilyl groups.     

On-line testing of gas chromatographic columns with a programmable computing integrator

Summary A program is described which calculates the number of effective plates and the coating efficiency over the entire range of a test chromatogram. The peak widths at half height are derived by assuming a Gaussian peak shape. The interpolated peak width at k=4 is used for computing a standardized number of effective plates. Plate height, column permeability, overall performance and a novel parameter called sampling efficiency are calculated from 5 other figures — i. e. carrier gas code, pressure drop, column length, column temperature and particle size.Dedicated to Dr. Leslie S. Generalized criterion of solvent polarity as a tool for control of chromatographic process

The generalized (reductive) criterion of solvent polarity was obtained by the method of multiparametric optimization of the Snyder index P", Hildebrand parameter _T , permittivity _r , and solvatochromism parameter E _T (30). Possibilities of employing this criterion for estimation of the elution power of normal and reversed mobile phases used in high-performance liquid chromatography were considered.     

Prediction of the net retention volumes in gas chromatography using porous polymers coated with different stationary phases

Summary A new expression which permits the prediction of the net retention volumes in gas chromatography with column packings of coated porous polymers is reported. The porous polymers Chromosorb 101 and Chromosorb 102 were used as supports and squalane, Ethofat and Carbowax 20M as stationary phases at three different column temperatures of 80°C, 100°C and 150°C. Several organic compounds of various polarity were used as test compounds and the net retention volumes, V_Ntheor, have been calculated according to this new expression. The V_Ntheor values were compared with the experimental net retention volumes, V_Nexp, and it was found that the difference between these two values is dependent on the type of compound and column packing. Nevertheless, the elution order could be predicted in most cases.     

Gas-liquid chromatography of thioesters of perfluorocarboxylic acids 1. Characteristics of retention

Retention of thioesters of perfluoropentanoic acid C₄F₉C(O)SR was studied by GLC on packed and capillary columns using stationary phases SE-30, SKTFT-50X, XE-60, and Carbowax 20M. The retention indices of these compounds were calculated, and their relationship with the structure of the compounds and the conditions of the analysis were established. 2-羟丙基三甲基氯化铵壳聚糖的制备及其性能研究

以脱乙酰度为95.37%的壳聚糖(CTS)为原料,异丙醇为溶剂,2,3-环氧丙基三甲基氯化铵为改性剂,于80℃反应12 h合成了水溶性季铵盐2-羟丙基三甲基氯化铵壳聚糖(HACC)。HACC的吸水保水性是CTS的2倍～3倍,加入化妆品中培养2周后菌落总数少于100 CFU.g-1。
